Volunteer with us:

The success of our shop depends on the commitment and enthusiasm of our volunteer team. As fair trade ambassadors, volunteers help to amplify our mission by sharing our artisans' stories in store and throughout the community.

Potential store volunteers:

  • Should be comfortable engaging with new people and assisting customers
  • Are willing to learn about fair trade and share our mission with the community
  • May be asked to to assist with unpacking orders, creating displays, running the register, and light cleaning duties.
  • Can stand for 2 hours shifts with reasonable breaks
  • Will be asked to commit to at least one 2-hour shift per month and to make an initial commitment of at least 3 months

Join our Board of Directors:

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, our Lincoln shop is governed by a locally-based Board of Directors. The Board's primary objectives are to provide organizational governance, financial and executive oversight, strategic leadership, and represent and advocate for our mission in the community. to the focuses on governance, oversight, and strategic leadership.

Serving on the Board of Directors is a meaningful way to use your voice, perspective, skills, and lived experiences to make a direct, measurable impact on global artisan partners, strengthen a long-standing fair trade presence in Nebraska.
