First Friday Craft Night

First Friday Craft Night is a Handspoken tradition that brings our community together to create, connect and try something new. On the first Friday of each month, we gather at the store for a hands-on craft and a relaxed evening of creativity.

Each month features a different project to make and take home. Whether you love crafting or are trying something new, you’re welcome to join us with friends, family or on your own.

We share the month’s craft on Facebook and Instagram during the week of the event. Check our social pages for a preview of what we’re making, event times and any details you’ll need before joining us.

Make a night of it

Craft night is one stop in an evening of creativity downtown! Lincoln’s First Friday Artwalk brings art exhibitions and receptions to galleries and local businesses on the first Friday of each month. Stop by Handspoken to create with us, then visit other participating spaces and enjoy dinner or a treat along the way.

Visit Downtown Lincoln’s First Friday guide to find participating locations and see what’s happening around downtown.

Thank you to Union Bank & Trust for sponsoring First Friday Craft Night and helping make these creative evenings possible.
